Internationally recognized NCSI and NCSD diplomas

At the Nexans regional training center there are three types of trainings:

• Nexans Certified System Installer
• Nexans Certified System Designer
• Nexans Optical Fiber Expert

The first two trainings cover detailed theoretical and practical lectures and exercises for the purpose of introducing to the participants the important segments of the up-to-date structural local and industrial copper cabling networks, as well as designing structural cabling systems in compliance with the ISO/IEC 11801 Standard, with a slight review to the optics.

The specialized training for designers and installers of computer and telephone networks in compliance with the ISO/IEC 11801 Standard for structural cabling systems, has been attended by over 200 participants from more than 50 companies and institutions in Macedonia and the region, who have received internationally recognized certificates Nexans Certified System Installer and Nexans Certified System Designer. The specialized training for designers and installers of computer network and telephony is organized as 4-day training, encompassing detailed theoretical and practical lectures and exercises for the participants to fully understand all important segments of the up-to-date local copper and optical fiber cabling networks.

The specialized training for designing and installation of optical fiber cabling networks is organized as 3-day training, separated into two segments. The first segment is composed of 1-day theoretical introduction into the optical fibers transmission, including the problems related to such transmission, as well as the components of Nexans which are intended for building optical fiber networks. The second systems consists of practical exercises including hot-melt and anaerobic adhesiveness, fusion splicing, microscope examination and measuring, OLTS and CTS instruments, as well as OTDR reflectometers. After successfully passing the final exam, each participant receives the Optical Fiber Expert Course international certificate.

The specialized trainings are carried out in small groups of 7 participants, in accordance to the ISO/IEC 11801 international standard for structural cabling. After completing the trainings, the participants gain a large percentage of general knowledge on structural cabling as well as internationally recognized certificates issued directly by Nexans. The trainings may be carried out in Macedonian and English language as well.

IMPORTANT: The specialized trainings may be attended by all interested entities, regardless of the professional education (high, secondary, or associate degree education), with or without work experience. For all participants in the expert course for optical fibers who have already attended and passed the course for installers or designers of computer and telephone networks in compliance with ISO/IEC 11801, the Nexans Training Center grants special discounts listed in the pricelist enclosed.
