LANmark-OF OM1, OM2 & OF ЅМ

Standard Multi-mode & Single-mode performance. LANmark-OF OM1 is the MM62.5 version, LANmark-OF OM2 is the MM50 version, and LANmark-OF SM is the single-mode version (OS2).

LANmark-OF OM3 & OM4

OM3 compliant 50/125 for 10 Gigabit applications up to 300 m and up to 550 m, respectively.


Nexans LANmark-OF Tight Buffer

The LANmark-OF Tight buffer has 900 μm buffered fibers. This second coating till 900 μm provides additional protection of the fibers and facilitates the handling when terminating the fibers in a patch panel. The easy strip tight buffer design allows stripping the fiber over 10 cm in one action.

The LANmark-OF Tight buffer is most suitable for direct termination by either anaerobic or hot melt connectors. The tight buffered fibers can also be terminated with splicing of pigtails.

The dry structure of the LANmark-Of Tight Buffer allows both vertical and horizontal installations. It complies with the indoor fiber requirements. The cables can be installed also in a duct by pulling.

Nexans LANmark-OF Tight Buffer comes in 2 versions: INDOOR and UNIVERSAL.

Nexans LANmark-OF Micro-Bundle

The new Micro-Bundle technology from Nexans allows manufacturing a flexible and small tube. This Micro-Bundle is the central part of the new “LANmark-OF Micro-Bundle” cable design. The Micro-Bundle contains 12 fibers with a fiber diameter of 250 μm. Termination of these fibers is done with splicing with pigtails.

Up to 8 Micro-bundles are arranged around a central strength element. The small bending radius of the LANmark-OF Micro-Bundle makes the cable easy to arrange in patch panels, in cable trays and in ducts.

The LANmark-OF Micro-Bundle complies with the indoor fiber requirements. Since there is no drip effect of the very limited amount of gel, the cable is optimized for both horizontal and vertical installations.

Aramid yarns provide additional strength and make the cable installer friendly.

The combination of the Micro-Bundle technology, the central strength element and the glass yarns result in a mechanical robust, but also in a small and flexible cable.

The watertight glass yarns and the very limited amount of gel inside the tube make the LANmark-OF Micro-Bundle Universal design watertight, rodent resistant and suitable for installation outdoor in a duct by pulling.

Nexans LANmark-OF UD PE

The LANmark-OF UD PE cable is designed as a campus cable. It can be pulled in a duct outside or can be buried directly. Its full dielectric armoring does not provide an electrical path, and hence the cable can be used to connect 2 buildings.

The central loose tube is surrounded by robust strength elements: Fiber Reinforced Plastic (FRP) elements. These FRP provide the cable with high rodent resistant and high resistant qualities against impacts and compression. There are 4 x FRP and 5 x fillers for fiber counts 4-12. For 14-24 fibers, there are 5 X FRP and 5 X fillers.

The loose tube design has a capacity of up to 24 fibers. Diameter of the fibers is 250 μm. Termination of these fibers is done with splicing of pigtails.

The cable is watertight due to the gel in the loose tube and the watertight glass yarns.

The construction is suitable for use outdoor in ducts and for direct burial. It consists of a corrugated steel tape armoring providing full rodent protection. It is surrounded by glass yarns. The cable has a HDPE outer jacket.

The loose tube design has a capacity of up to 24 fibers. Diameter of the fibers is 250 μm. Termination of these fibers is done with splicing of pigtails. The cable is watertight due to the gel in the loose tube and the watertight glass yarns.

Nexans LANmark-OF ZC (2.0 mm) LSZH

LANmark-OF ZC optical fiber cables have been designed for applications where a high level of installation, environmental and optical performance is required. The Zip Cord range is most suitable for direct termination in patch assembly and in risers and horizontal cabling.

Majority of the tight-buffered cables is suitable for both internal & external environments and are all dielectric with excellent flame retardance.

Nexans Essential 1HU Optical Fiber Patch Panel has been designed to support:

  • up to 24 ST ports or
  • up to 12 Dual SC ports (total 24 SC)
It combines a cost-effective design with high port density. It is suitable for tight buffer cables (direct termination) or loose tube cables using splice tray. It can be used also as a splitter.

LANmark-OF Modular Snap-in OF Patch Panel

New fiber optic snap-in patch panel from Nexans, brings significant improvements resulting in better customer experience when fiber optic networks have to be deployed. Suitable for tight buffer cables (direct termination) or loose tube cables using Splice Cassette. Accommodates perfectly pre-terminated assemblies by means of bendable plates.

Accepts the entire range of LANmark-OF snap-in adapters: LC, MT-RJ, SC or DSC. Supports up to 48 fibers when Small Form Factors (SFF) adapters are used. Main features:

Fiber Optic pigtails & patchcords


LANmark-OF Pigtails

Nexans LANmark-OF pigtails have been designed for applications where a high level of optical features is required. Basic function is to terminate cable with fusion splicing, suitable for use in patch panels, zone distribution boxes and splice closures using splice cassettes. All pigtails are 100 % factory tested.

There are 2 basic types depending on the optical fiber from which are made: Maxistrip and Tight Buffer.

Nexans LANmark-OF Maxistrip pigtails can be stripped in one action over a long distance of up to 1 m due to the use of Maxistrip optical fiber. For the same reason (use of Tight Buffer optical fiber) the Tight Buffer pigtails can be stripped in one action over a distance of 1-2 cm.

Nexans LANmark-OF pigtails are available in all standardized optical fiber classes, multi-mode and single-mode. In order to identify the type of optical fiber from which the pigtail is made, the following color codes are used:

  • Yellow for 9/125 pigtails (ОЅ2)
  • Orange for 62.5/125 pigtails (ОМ1)
  • Aqua for 50/125 pigtails

LANmark-OF Patch cords

Nexans LANmark-OF patch cords are available in all standardized optical fiber classes, multimode and single mode. Nexans LANmark-OF optical fiber patch cords have been designed for applications where a high level of optical features is required.
